The two recently restored K6 red telephone boxes within the village conservation area, now have  useful local information inside. The large display panel shows images and the location of the village buildings on a map, with the features numbered and a ‘you are here’ arrow to assist visitors.

The smaller framed panel carries local contact & website information of village organisations & services. This panel will be updated as necessary.

Silver End Parish Council (who own the telephone boxes) together with Silver End Heritage Society hope the map and information displayed will be of interest to visitors (and residents) to assist them to appreciate Silver End’s unique architecture and to learn about the villages soical and industrial history.
